Advertising Sales Specialist

Comcast Advertising is driving the TV advertising industry forward, from delivering ads to linear and digital audiences to pioneering the tech that makes it possible. We help brands connect with their audiences on every screen using advanced data, technology, and premium video content. Our media sales division helps local, regional, and national brands reach potential customers through multiscreen TV advertising. Our ad tech division FreeWheel provides comprehensive adtech that makes it easier to buy and sell premium video advertising across all screens, data types, and sales channels.

Job Summary

Responsible for being a trusted and highly valued partner for the seller to escalate, coordinate and translate activities between internal and external partners. Supports sales efforts in the pitch-to-pay process. Creates a Continuity of Care for our agencies that results in a better customer experience. Responsible for providing high-level support to Ad Sales teams, clients and sales partners by providing client/agency research, developing presentations, generation and verification of sales orders, revenue reporting and troubleshooting. Provides financial and sales reports. Develops and maintains relevant sales databases. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. This role is also virtual and can be performed from these specific locations Pennsylvania, New York, or Georgia; however, the ideal candidate will be based in Philadelphia, PA, New York, NY, or Atlanta, GA.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary client contact for active programmatic advertisers and agencies.
  • Act as the programmatic continuity expert across the full campaign lifecycle, from pre-sale through post-campaign.
  • Support Sales during the RFP process, translating client goals into executable programmatic strategies.
  • Support campaign setup, pacing, optimization, and performance storytelling.
  • Monitor delivery and proactively troubleshoot or escalate issues in partnership with internal teams.
  • Support creative and ad copy workflows to ensure campaigns launch accurately and on time.
  • Prepare and deliver campaign performance reports, insights, and client-facing presentations.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Trading, Analytics, Yield, Planning, Campaign Management, Legal, and Finance to ensure smooth execution.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships and drive repeat business.
  • Support special projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What We Are Looking For:

  • 25+ years of experience in programmatic advertising, account management, or client services.
  • Strong understanding of programmatic buying and/or the digital/CTV space, campaign delivery, and performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into clear insights.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Compensation: Primary Location Pay Range: $74,697.72 - $112,046.58 This job can be performed in New York with a Pay Range of $71,140.69 - $112,046.58. Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus. Additionally, Comcast provides best-in-class Benefits to eligible employees.

Education: Bachelor's Degree. While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
