Accounting Clerk Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in accounting areas such as accounts receivable, payable, and payroll
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Competency in Microsoft Excel
• Self-driven, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently

Accounting Clerk Main Duties:

• Processing customer payments and accurately recording financial transactions
• Supporting accounts payable and payroll processes
• Reconciling bank deposits and assisting with preparing financial reports
• Communicating with customers regarding past-due balances, payment options, and conducting courteous collection follow-ups
• Maintaining organized files and records of financial documents
• Handling incoming calls and assisting with general office and administrative tasks to support overall workflow
