Construction Assistant Project Manager

Location: Richmond, VA

An amazing and rare opportunity to join a very established and reputable GC in the area. They are one of the longest-standing GCs in the area and have over 80% negotiated work. Projects are commercial, healthcare, and educational, ranging from $2M-$20M. They have a huge pipeline of work due to increased needs from their negotiated clients and are looking to bring on a Superintendent to support their continued growth.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and executing construction projects
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
• Assist in preparing project budgets, estimates, RFIs, and submittals
• Help maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and schedules
• Collaborate with field teams to ensure safety and quality standards are met
• Participate in client meetings and provide regular updates on progress

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction experience (Healthcare interiors is a plus)
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with scheduling software a plus
• Driven, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within a dynamic company
