Spoelman Hovingh & Feldt Inc., a CPA firm located in Coopersville, MI, provides a broad range of accounting services to businesses and individuals. Due to continued growth, we’re seeking a CPA who is looking for a unique opportunity to join our team.

We do not perform any audits, only reviews and compilations. You will be working with all of the partners and you will work directly with our clients’ accountants and owners. Responsibilities:

· Prepare individual, business and partnership tax returns across multiple industries

· Lead engagements throughout all phases of tax and accounting including tax research and planning

· Prepare and review financial statements

· QuickBooks consulting and payroll processing including completion of payroll tax forms and payments

· Develop and cultivate professional relationships with clients and staff

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting

· 2+ years of public accounting tax experience

· CPA license required (CPA candidates actively pursuing licensure will be considered)

· Attention to detail with strong communication, organizational, analytical, client service, technological and PC skills including Microsoft Office and tax software proficiency

· Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize projects, work independently and meet deadlines in a team-oriented environment
