AFreelance Copywriter ****Only Local Utah applicants will be considered for this position**** DentalCMO is a quickly expanding MARTECH company with hundreds of active, global clients. We are looking for a smart, talented copywriter to help write content for our clients’ websites. Our writers work under the direction of our lead writer and editor to create the content for our clients' websites. Each writer should be adept at writing web-friendly content for a specific voice or style and should be able to demonstrate a great understanding of grammar and sentence flow. They should also be able to meet set deadlines, take notes, and follow instructions well. Writers will need to learn about different aspects of dentistry and incorporate their research into their writing throughout each project. They will be required to generate new content based on the same information for each client and need to be creative enough to frequently discover new ways to present similar ideas. Education & Experience Mastery of the English language and experience in writing, such as: Bachelor's degree in English/writing/marketing (completed or in progress) Professional technical writing experience and/or published written works Graduate degree a plus Dentistry knowledge a plus Skills and Qualities Ability to write clearly to a targeted audience Ability to quickly learn about a topic and explain it to a specified audience Ability to generate new, unique content based on the same information for several different clients Strong grammar and proofing skills Honesty and self-discipline Strong attention to detail a must DentalCMO Core Values Ridiculously Responsive Kaizen A Giver Be Wise Stewards “Good” isn’t Good Enough Our Clients are our Friends Professional but Fun Compensation This is a 1099 (freelance) position We pay $36 per 600 words of content (or $.06 per word) which meets the following criteria: Meets minimum word count requirements (between 600–2000 per page depending on project type) Meets project requirements (including correct tone of voice for the client’s brand and any specific questions answered or subjects covered on a page) Proofed (Free of typos and grammatical errors) Must be completed by the deadline set. Writers are in charge of 2 main types of writing services: Full website write-up, upon assignment 15 +/- web pages on different dental topics, 600 words per page depending on client requirements Average 2–3 week turnaround Monthly webpage updates 1–2 pages per client per month meeting the following requirements: Search-Engine Optimized pages: 1200-word (minimum) page doing a \ #J-18808-Ljbffr LUMN, LLC
