Staffworks Group is seeking an experienced  Crane Operator to safely and efficiently operate cranes for the loading, unloading, and placement of roofing materials on residential and commercial projects in the Andover, MA area.

Crane Operator – Roofing Materials

Location: Andover, MA
Pay Rate: $35 – $40 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday (overtime as needed)

Responsibilities:

• Operate crane equipment to lift, move, and position roofing materials on job sites.
• Coordinate with ground crew and roofing teams to ensure safe and accurate material placement.
• Driving telescopic boom cranes to and from job sites.
• Monitor load weights and ensure proper rigging and balance of materials.
• Follow all OSHA safety standards and company safety protocols.
• Maintain clear communication with signal people and site supervisors.
• Report any mechanical issues, damage, or safety concerns promptly.
• Assist with general labor duties on-site as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL Class B. and/or MA Hoisting License-1B required.
• Valid NCCO Class TSS Telescopic Boom Cranes
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of crane operating experience (experience in roofing or material handling a plus).
