Description Dispatcher: Inter-Con is searching for aspiring individuals to join our thriving team of Security Officers. You'll work as a member of a close team to form the backbone of the broad security services Inter-Con provides its valued clients every day.

Expected Responsibilities: Handle incoming minor and major emergency phone and radio calls for assistance including, but not limited to:
- Reports of break-ins
- Requests for security officers
- Alarm activation calls
- Customer service threats
- Active shooter situations
- Lost equipment
- Requests for access to facilities
- Send and respond to emails sent to the SOC from stakeholders.
- Respond to alarms via state of the art computer equipment and software applications.
- Monitor alarm and CCTV activity for multiple facilities throughout Customer's territory.
Veterans Qualifications:
PLUS:
- 2 years security experience or experience in a related field
Or,
- Possess a Peace Officer Standards & Training (POST) Certificate
Or,
- Law enforcement academy graduate (local, state, or federal) or Military exp.
Or,
- CPR/AED/First Aid
- Must pass a 10 panel DOT required drug screen
- Excellent customer service skills
- Reliable and professional
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Speak, read, and write English.
1 yr or more security experience
