Job Description

Cummins Behavioral Health Systems, Inc. is looking for a full time Human Resources Assistant at our administrative office in Avon, Indiana. Candidates must currently reside in Indiana or be willing to relocate.

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Assistant (HR Assistant) will support a variety of HR functions. Key responsibilities include maintaining personnel files, assisting with separations, coordinating new hire orientation and onboarding, supporting training and development activities, managing HR recordkeeping, assisting with recruitment, and providing general HR administrative support. All activities must be completed in alignment with company policies, regulatory requirements, and the corporate compliance program at Cummins Behavioral Health Systems .

Essential Functions:

• Assist with new hire orientation

• Complete employment checks

• Maintain and audit personnel files

• Process separations in Paycom

• Support onboarding progress tracking

• Assist with annual HR projects

• Perform other duties as assigned to support HR operations

Training and Development:

• Participates in continuing education programs and in-service training on request or in conjunction with developmental and training goals or as deemed appropriate to increase personal and professional effectiveness and improve the service quality provided to our organization. Policies and Procedures.

• Will support and demonstrate through his/her actions the philosophy of Cummins Behavioral Health Systems, Inc., as well as its corporate mission, vision, and values.

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Education and/or Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience working in an entry level position in Human Resources; or equivalent combination of education and work experience with an emphasis on HR assistant activities desired.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Experience with Microsoft office and Outlook email system preferred.
