Job Description

Industrial Painter 1 st shift M-F
Responsibilities:

• Utilizing different painting techniques based on the nature of the surface.
• Cleaning surfaces prior to layering paint using chemical rinse.
• Able to read blueprints to identify masking requirements.
• Maintaining technical equipment for the job and ensuring that they are in working order.
• Using viscosity cups and thickness gauges to measure the amount of paint to be used and the texture of the paint.
• Painting small items and doing touch-ups.
• Safely disposing of chemical waste.
• Ensuring that high safety standards are met.
• Utilizing special safety equipment such as respirator and painting goggles.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience using pressure tank spray system and cup guns.
• Experience with industrial enamel and 2 part epoxy paints.
• Experience painting a variety of surface types.
• Proficiency with technical machinery.
• Experience with hoist, crane and lift trucks.
• Diligence and attention to detail.
• Good organizational skills.
• Good verbal communication.
• Able to work overtime when requested.

Pay Details: $41,600.00 to $52,000.00 per year
