Job Description
Industrial Painter 1 st shift M-F
Responsibilities: - Utilizing different painting techniques based on the nature of the surface.
- Cleaning surfaces prior to layering paint using chemical rinse.
- Able to read blueprints to identify masking requirements.
- Maintaining technical equipment for the job and ensuring that they are in working order.
- Using viscosity cups and thickness gauges to measure the amount of paint to be used and the texture of the paint.
- Painting small items and doing touch-ups.
- Safely disposing of chemical waste.
- Ensuring that high safety standards are met.
- Utilizing special safety equipment such as respirator and painting goggles.
Qualifications: - High school diploma or GED.
- Experience using pressure tank spray system and cup guns.
- Experience with industrial enamel and 2 part epoxy paints.
- Experience painting a variety of surface types.
- Proficiency with technical machinery.
- Experience with hoist, crane and lift trucks.
- Diligence and attention to detail.
- Good organizational skills.
- Good verbal communication.
- Able to work overtime when requested.
Pay Details: $41,600.00 to $52,000.00 per year
