Summary: Keep broken yarn ends drawn in as necessary, keep yarn in creel, maintain records of defects while
fabric is being produced and assist fixer, threader or doffer as necessary. Perform duties on all equipment,
production and development as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
1. Receive specific instructions from fixer or Supervisor.
2. Responsible for good housekeeping and safety.
3. Frequently inspects all cloth and machines to prevent running of defects and off quality.
4. Assist threader or fixer in removing and replacing guide bars and other machinery
components as requested.
5. Cover for other operators while on break.
6. Informs fixer or Supervisor of yarn or machine related problems.
7. Will perform any other duties as directed by supervisor or head fixer.
