The Opportunity:

We’re seeking a President to lead operations across the DMV markets. This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of an already well established GC, re-establishing its market presence, driving strategic growth, and cultivating a high-performing leadership team. The ideal executive is a strategic operator, relationship builder and true leader with a proven track record of delivering results in competitive markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Market Leadership & Brand Positioning: Re-establish the company as a credible and visible competitor across the DMV, elevating brand recognition and client trust.
• Executive Leadership: Unite, inspire, and align the leadership team, fostering collaboration across preconstruction, operations, finance, and business development.
• Strategic Growth & Business Development: Be selective and strategic in pursuing projects, ensuring the company wins the right work with the right clients.
• Financial Performance: Drive the company to its target revenue ($100M +) range with healthy profit margins, balancing growth with operational efficiency.
• Talent Development & Culture: Build a strong organizational culture by developing talent, launching internship programs, and creating clear career advancement paths.
• Organizational Excellence: Maintain accountability and performance standards while nurturing a positive, values-driven work environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven leadership experience at the executive level in construction.
• Demonstrated success in growing revenue, improving profitability, and leading cross-functional teams.
• Strong ability to develop and retain top talent, build culture, and foster high-performing teams.
• Strategic mindset with excellent decision-making, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience driving selective business pursuits and executing growth strategies in competitive markets.
