We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in bridge construction and heavy civil infrastructure . This individual will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of bridge and highway projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, schedules, and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage bridge and heavy civil construction projects from pre-construction through closeout

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost control procedures

  • Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure efficient communication and execution

  • Oversee contract administration and change order management

  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards

  • Provide leadership and direction to field personnel and subcontractors

  • Work closely with DOT and public agency stakeholders to maintain project alignment and quality

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred)

  • Minimum 5–10+ years of experience in heavy civil and bridge project management

  • Proven track record delivering VDOT or DOT-related infrastructure projects

  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts (VDOT specs preferred), scheduling software (Primavera P6 or MS Project), and cost tracking tools

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
