The Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Data Scientist with a strong background in data analytics, optimization, and supply chain strategies, specifically within the semiconductor industry. This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise and practical business acumen to design and deploy solutions that optimize complex supply chain processes, including replenishment strategies and resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities

• As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of data science solutions, from concept to production:
• Collaborate with business partners to design and develop innovative solutions using cutting-edge techniques and tools to meet strategic objectives.
• Develop, test, and deploy robust data science models using Python, SQL, and PySpark on enterprise cloud platforms like Databricks.
• Translate experimental models into high-quality, production-ready code, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage code repositories using GitHub Enterprise.
• Design and optimize both mathematical programming (e.g., linear programming) and machine learning (ML) models for real-world supply chain applications.
• Leverage proficiency in standard data science libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn, MLlib, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.
• Work independently to break down complex business problems into actionable development tasks with clear milestones.
• Contribute to sprint planning, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering and business teams.
• Act as a mentor to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in AI/ML through continuous learning and community engagement.

Technical Skills

• Experience: 7+ years of hands-on experience working as a Data Scientist.
• Industry Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience delivering enterprise data science solutions within the Semiconductor Industry supply chain (e.g., fabrication, assembly, test, distribution).
• Expert proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark.
• Strong experience with enterprise cloud environments, specifically Databricks or similar platforms (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Azure ML).
• Demonstrated experience with production-level coding and deployment practices, emphasizing code quality and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with a broad range of machine learning techniques (e.g., predictive modeling, time series) and mathematical optimization methods (e.g., convex optimization, heuristics).

• A self-starter with a strong ownership mindset and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into precise technical specifications.
