We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality care to residents in a long-term care and skilled rehabilitation setting during the night shift. This role supports the nursing team in delivering resident-centered care while maintaining safety, dignity, and comfort throughout overnight hours.

• Assist residents/patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including feeding, bathing, dressing, toileting, ambulation, and skin care

• Obtain and document vital signs, weights, and intake/output accurately and in a timely manner

• Observe, monitor, and promptly report changes in resident/patient condition to the RN/LPN or Charge Nurse

• Maintain resident/patient privacy, confidentiality, and dignity at all times

• Follow infection control standards and Universal Precautions

• Provide additional care and support as directed by RN/LPN staff

• Assist with orientation of residents, patients, and families to the unit and services

• Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team

• Demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, and a team-oriented approach in all interactions

• Minimum 3 years of CNA experience , preferably in long-term care or skilled rehabilitation

• Active Maine CNA License (required)

• Night Shift

• 6:30 PM 7:00 AM

• 3 x 12-hour shifts per week

• Holiday coverage required

• Traveler candidates must reside 50+ miles from the work location

• Assignment may include up to three shift cancellations per 13-week contract per facility policy

• Strong communication and listening skills

• Ability to empathize with residents, patients, and families

• Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations

• Commitment to teamwork, compassion, and quality care

• Passion for serving long-term care residents and skilled rehabilitation patients
